Rizzl is your creative studio's home base. Upload motion design assets, share them with clients for review, manage your team's tasks, and chat — all in one place. This guide covers everything you need to get started.

Uploading files

You can upload any file type — After Effects projects, Premiere sequences, MOGRTs, MP4s, images, PSDs, and more.

How to upload

Watching videos

MP4, MOV, and WEBM files play directly in the browser. Click any video in your library to open it and hit play.

• Seeking — Click anywhere on the timeline to jump to that point
• Full-screen — Click the "Full-screen view" button below the player to open in a new window
• Quality — If your video was uploaded in 4K, you'll see quality options (4K, 1080p, 720p)

Downloading assets

Open any asset in the library and click Download. Your browser will download the original file directly.

Sharing with clients

Client portals let you share specific assets with clients for review and approval — without giving them access to your full library.

Create a portal

What your client sees

Clients open the link in their browser and can preview each asset, leave comments (with timestamps for videos), and mark items as approved or request revisions. They don't need a Rizzl account.

Tracking

You can see how many times a portal was viewed, who approved it, and read all client comments — right from the portal detail page.

Your team

Invite teammates by email. Each person gets a role that controls what they can do:

How to invite

Go to Team → click Invite member → enter their email → choose a role → send. They'll get an email with a link to join your workspace.

Managing tasks

The task board is a drag-and-drop kanban for tracking your team's work.

• Create a task — Click + Add task in any column. Add a title, description, due date, and assign one or more team members.
• Multiple assignees — Click the assignee dropdown and check multiple people.
• Priority — Set Low, Medium, High, or Urgent. Each shows a different color on the card.
• Drag to move — Drag cards between columns (TODO → In Progress → Review → Done).
• Checklists — Add subtasks inside any card.
• Comments — Discuss a task with your team right on the card.

Team chat

Built-in messaging so you don't need to switch to Slack for quick conversations.

Two modes

• Team chat — Everyone in the workspace can see messages
• Direct messages — Private 1-on-1 conversations. Click DM tab → select a teammate.

Features

• @mentions — Type @name to tag someone
• Reactions — Click the ⋯ button on any message → pick an emoji
• Edit your messages — Click ⋯ → ✏️ Edit → change text → Save
• Delete your messages — Click ⋯ → 🗑 Delete

Upload files to Rizzl directly from Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Audition.

Trash & Recovery

When you delete an asset, it moves to Trash. You can restore it anytime. To permanently delete, go to Library → Trash and click Empty Trash.

Plans & Billing

Upgrade anytime from Settings → Plans & Billing.
